It wasn’t an easy decision, it wasn’t momentary
I've been running away from this for years, trying to live like someone normal
I didn’t want my absence to cause suffering to anyone
I didn't want to be the reason for your crying again
I need you to understand, I wasn't living for me
I lived not to cause suffering to those who didn't deserve it
But what's the use of living, without wanting to wake up the next day?

I need you to be strong and keep going, know that I'm better now
The only thing you wanted was a normal son, like the others
But I wasn't like that and you knew
Please don't blame yourself for anything that happened
I always had it all, you fulfilled your role, you did your part
The problem was with me, and believe me, I endured a long time
My mind torturing me every day, begging for an end
You wanted me to seek help, and I refused

I didn't want to change, I don't belong here
People, their attitudes, their ignorance, their ego
I don't want to be a part of this, can you understand me?
How to sleep in peace, while your species destroys everything?
A lot of people think like me, but prefer not to assume
They hide their anguish behind fake smiles
And they keep to themselves, an anguish that corrodes inside
Anyway, it's over, I really hope you get over it soon

I swear to you, your suffering was never my intention
You never deserved to go through this
But I don't think it's fair for me to stay here
Psychology wouldn't have avoided it, I didn't want to change
I appreciate everything you did for me, and I'm sorry I made you go through this, but I had to do it.
